I have RRAS configured but I cannot get to our gateway.  I want to install RIPv2 to update routes. When I right click general and select Rip Version 2 for Internet Protocol and Click OK, a windows opend titled routing and remote Access.  In the window is the Yellow triangle with the black exclamation point and it says "the data is invalid".  Rip does not get enabled.  there are no erros in the event viewer.

The RRAS is configured with two networks.

    192.168.1.10

    255.255.255.0

    192.168.1.1

    This is the public interface.

    and the LAN is

    10.10.10.10

    255.255.255.0

    no gateway.

When I add a client to the 10.10.10.10 network there is no way for them to get out to the internet.  From the RRAS server I can get out to the internet via the 192.168.1.1.  I can authenticate to the VPN and access resources on 10.10.10.10 but i cannot access resources on the 192.168.1.0.  I am not sure how to add a static route because i could just add the route rather than use ripv2.

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for posting here.

Could you discuss that what you want achieve ? do you want two IP segments could communicate with each other ?

If in that case , seems you have installed RRAS role on your server ,so set static route is more easier for you to do that .

Please refer to the links below:

I had the same problem. RRAS wasn't letting me add any routing protocols and my NAT wasn't working. I disabled the RRAS and went through the wizard again. This time I added RIPv2 before starting RRAS and it worked. I hope this helps someone because it was bothering me for days.
