    Hi,

    I am new to RDS.  Currently, I am a member of the Built-In Administrator of a Domain.  I find that I am also a member of the RDS Group (With Policy that "Allow users to connect remotely using Remote Desktop Services).

    I am quite confusing as I find that I am able to remote access some servers at home with my own credentials BUT some cannot.  All of them are Domain Servers.

    Your advice is sought.

    For those servers that cannot remote login, I get the error message "The connection was denied because the user account is not authorized for remote login".

    I have checked the Target Server and there is no login failure message.  Would there be any entries in the Windows 2008 R2 RDS Server ?
