Have a look at this forum post discussing the same error with CMD.EXE on Windows 7:
Can you connect with RDP to the server on the IP number instead of the DNS server name? Have you configured the remote desktop settings?

Thanks for your response !!
I have tried with IP address no use, also all the Remote desktop settings are configured.
To be precise server was usable before and this issue started only from past 3 - 4 weeks , where if we reboot the server, RDP's will be good for some time , later the issue reverts back again !!
