Hi,
I did setup RDWeb and RD gateway on a server 2008 R2 SP1 server and working correctly, now I have a server 2012 that has an app that I want to publish it as well, so I did install the Rd web also on this server and add the server account (server 2012) of this server to the TS web access server account of the Ts web access server (server 2008 R2), after I went to the configuration tab of the 2008 r2 Ts web to add the FQDN of the server 2012 to the source name, but when click on the ok get the error that says:
RD web access server was not able to access the FQDN of the server 2012.
Any idea why is this heppeing?
Tha nks

Hi,
If you would like to publish RemoteApps via RDWeb that are on a Server 2012 RDSH then you need to use a Server 2012 RD Web server. You may use Server 2012 RDWeb/RD Gateway to publish apps for both your Server 2008 R2 RDSH and your Server 2012 server.
To configure your server 2008 R2 RDSH as a source on your 2012 RDWeb server you need to open IIS Manager, in the left pane select Sites\Default Web Site\RDWeb, in middle pane, double-click Application Settings, then set ws08r2rdserver to the FQDN of your Server 2008 RDSH. Your Server 2012 server's computer account needs to be a member of the TS Web Access Computers local group on your Server 2008 R2 RDSH server.
You may use your Server 2008 R2 RD Gateway for your Server 2012, however, you will not have support for UDP which is one of the new capabilities of RDP8. I recommend using Server 2012 RD Gateway for both servers.
