    Ok recently noticed, as I don`t access this all the time, that if a domain user be them admins or normal users, login to the RDWEB access page none of the remote apps icons are listed, I have created in the past .rdp exe`s for some of these apps and they work fine? geeting Event id 5 no programs were detected on %server. Ensure the server is an RD Session Host server and that it is online?

    Any one seen this before, no changes to the server to cause this, unless its updates?

    I have the similar same case. Normally, reboot the RD server fix the problem. If the reboot doesn't fix the problem, it could be WMI permission issue.     HI I have tried rebooting and checked the WMI permissions, no luck? anyone esles got any ideas?

    Any one got any more ideas what causes this? I have searched the forum and tried the answers listed but still no luck?

    What is your setup? You have a separate Connection Broker/Gateway Server/ WebServer?

    We had the same here and were able to fix it with a IISReset and or a reboot of the RDWeb server.

    Hi set up is a domain member 2008 R2 standard server, which hosts the web apps, users connect to this machine not through a broker, and run the apps from there.

    The rdp files are still working just the web apps page does not show the icons and I am getting errors in the logs about no programs can be found on this server?

    Ok I have just finished updating the server from windows update and all the icons are back!!! so I will keep an eye on it over the next couple of days.
