Using Remote Desktop Gateway (RDG) to connect from an out-of-domain workstation/location through the Gateway to a virtual machine in the domain/network. Workstation is Windows 7 x64, and Gateway server and VM are 2008 R2.
Would like to access workstation files from VM. Can one share local hard drive across RDG to access on remote computer? Any other ways to do it?

Yes, you can share the local drive across RD Gateway to the remote computer. Just be sure that is not disabled in either the RD Gateway manager or via GPO on the computer. Apart from local drive access you will also be able to perform direcyt copy-paste actions of files, folders, clipboard etc. to the remote computer.
