File Associations with Server 2010 Remote Desktop...

Friday, February 08, 2013 7:17 PMI am trying to setup file associations on a Windows 7 PC which will be using RDP files to connect to a Windows Server 2010 Terminal Server. I found an article showing the registry changes and I can get the file type association to work for the most part however when I try to open the file and run the app from an .rdp file I am getting the error "This RDP file has settings that cannot be overridden by command line. The remote connection cannot be started."

Just guessing: you might need to allow RemoteApp command line arguments (in RemoteApp settings).
