I have a file .exe in a Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit SP1, the file to run it generates a file .txt in the same directory where you run the .exe
When i logging from a Windows Server 2003 via RDP with parameter "/console" to a Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit with RDP 7.1 and I try to run the .exe, it does not generate the file .txt
When I access locally or from other products such as VNC Server and I try to run the .exe ... exe file run correctly and I build the file .txtDoes anyone know what could be my problem?
Thanks so much !!!

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Please ensure you run the .exe file as an administrator. In addition, please try to RDP to the Server 2008 R2 with RDC 7.0 or higher version (Win7\8, WinSrv2008 R2), to see if the issue still persists.

Hi,
Look at the title of my post my friend ... RDP 7.1 I think that I use the 7.1 but who you told me I can upgrade to the version 8. Think you that this is the solution ?
I was test this:
- Run the .exe file as administrator
- I check the permissions for the folder where I have to create the .txt file
- I check the Remote desktop session host configuration
- I heck the Remote Session Service Manager
- And I check "some" local polices of server, but I don't know if I'm forgetting some set starting
- In my last test, I'm trying to use "Process Monitor" to see anything
Has anyone any idea that may be going ?
Thanks so much !!!

Hi,
This is a third party process issue. The file .exe may not doing well in RDP mode. I recommend you involve the process's vendor for further investigation.
