Microsoft Office 2007: adding an attachment from a network location crashes the program

Hello,
I'm running a Dell R610 Terminal Server with a 2008 R2 Standard license and I appear to be running into an issue where Outlook 2007 crashes every single time a user clicks on the insert attachment button. All of the most-up-to-date patches have been applied. When I copy a file from the NAS to the desktop of the terminal server and copy and paste or drag the file it attaches fine, it's only when a user clicks on the insert button that the entire program crashes.
Ironically a user can open a file in Excel and Word from any network share perfectly fine, it's only appears to be happening in Outlook 2007 when the insert button is pressed.
Does anyone else have this problem? - I've read in other posts that it's been resolved by some people and other's it still a open book.

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Is this issue occurs to all users? Please try to create a new user profile and outlook profile to verify if the issue still persists. In addition, please open Outlook 2007 in Safe Mode to see if it helps.

Since the issue is more related to Office 2007, I would also recommend that you open a new thread at Office forum.

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't sure where to make the post, I tried to keep it in a relevant section.
I've tried the above steps and it's still occurring.
is it possible to move this thread while keeping it open?
