  Can somebody please help here i need to use RD to connect from a mac to server 2008R2 with rdp 7.1 please help 

  the download from the guys dropbox works but i cant trust it in a live environment

  Please open a case with Microsoft Support to obtain the hotfix.  You need to request the fix from the Mac Office team.

  I called Microsoft support and got nowhere!!  Spent an hour on the phone with Mac Office team.  They kept telling me over and over that they can only help me download 2.1.1, which is publicly available.  I kept saying that Don Geddes, a Microsoft employee said on this technet article to open a case to obtain the hotfix.  He then directed me to http://www.trailblz.com/kb/?action=view&kb=175&cat=12 to download it.

  Can Microsoft not just post the hotfix somewhere instead of having everyone call the Mac Office support team and spend an hour on the phone?  This seems like an inefficient process to me. Thanks.
