    Hi friends.

I'm running remoteapp on a test environment and I faced a situation I think its a bit strange and puts on check for me to use it now...

My needs are not to have delphi5 clients on "client machines" and centralize tha installation on the server.

Well, remoteapp is great for it!!! but when I run a delphi5 application I create as a remoteapplication, I'm still having to install the delphi5 client connector on client machines. I was not supposed to bypass this need as long as all the installation resides on the server?

I want to move some apps to the cloud with an Desktop as a Service too and running remoteapp would be a great benefit, but I cant run this app that requires delphi5 connector and is working well on the server without having to install its client on client machines... Why? how can I bennefit from not to have to install any app on clients machine, but instead, just connect to IE and run remote app?

    tks

    Fernando

    Hi,

Whether you have installed the delphi5 client on the “Client machines”? You can try to uninstall the delphi5 client agent and launch this RemoteApp again to see if the same issue still exists.

If you run the Delphi5 applications as RemoteApp, it should be installed the delphi5 client in the target server, rather than local client machine.
