Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services with Windows Server 2003 DC

I have been trying to install the Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services and am having major issues doing so. Here is my setup
1 physical DC w/ 2003 Enterprise
2 physical nodes both running Server 2012 Datacenter Core in a cluster with Hyper-v 3
1 VM on my cluster running 2012 Datacenter (The one I am trying to install RDS on)
Objective: For the meantime, to mimic what I have in 2003 Terminal services. I have about 20 people that connect remotely and use the desktop of the server and apps to work remotely if need be.
I am trying to install Remote Desktop services. When I attempt to install from roles and features, the Remote Desktop Services option (not from the actual roles and services but the screen before) the RD Connection Broker role service installation fails. IT takes a long time, sometimes from 20-30 minutes it seems.
I see several threads regarding this but nothing that is helping me out. I tried to run the Windows internal db as a domain admin, a local admin, as System, as a network service. Still not getting me anywhere.
I guess my main question, other than "what in the world could be the cause of my issue", would be "will I be able to run RDS while also having a 2003 domain controller?

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Have your tried to install the RDP services with standard deployment or quick start deployment from the wizard? For more detailed information, please refer to the following thread. Hope it helps.
