Use Easy Connect is grayed out in Windows 2012

Since Windows 2012 doesn’t Remote Control/Shadow, we would like to use Remote Assistance/Easy Connect to control remote session to support our RD users. But whenever I try to run Remote Assistance, the Use Easy Connect is grayed out.
I have enabled “Peer Name Resolution Protocol” (PNRP) as show the screenshot.
The IPv6 is enabled. All 3 Windows 2012 servers have the same issue and all my Windows 7 and 8 computers don’t have this problem when using Remote Assistance. What could be the problem?

I can't find any documentation that states it won't work, but I can find documentation in the built-in help stating that for Easy Connect to work, you must be running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows RT. It's possible that it just doesn't work on Server.
If Easy Connect isn't working, check the following table for reasons why and solutions.
Possible problems Solutions One or both of the PCs aren’t running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows RT.
Install Windows 7 or Windows 8 or get a Windows RT PC.

Friday, January 04, 2013 1:37 AMThat is correct that no document states the Easy Connect will run on Windows server 2012. However, someone from Microsoft did recommend to run Remote Assistance for remote control RD session since the TS Remote Control/Shadow has been removed from Windows 2012. Any suggestion to run remote control on RD session for supporting RD users?

Tuesday, January 08, 2013 11:49 PMThis really sucks. I can't believe this feature / functionality has been removed from Server 2012. I understand the security issues, but the least they could have done is to provide admin's with an alternate tool to accomplish the same...
