    I have an XP machine at my office that I access remotely from home and would like to be able to use ClearType with.  Are there any plans in the future to backport RDP 6 server to XP SP2?  If not, is there any specific reason?

    While no new features will be backported to XP SP2, several new client features will be available in XP SP3 including the new 6.1 client.  The server though, will not be backported.

    For ClearType, you will have to use Vista as the server.
