When I attempt to create Personal Virtual Desktops on Windows Server 2012 using Windows 7 SP1 the creation fails when the collection is being created. I get the following error: "The Integration components in the virtual desktop are not the correct version." When I go through the same steps but use Windows 8 instead of Windows 7 I have no issues.

Please offer any suggestions or help. That would be great.

    Thank you,

    Ryan B.

    Hi Ryan,

You need to install the latest integration components in the Win7 VM you are using for a template.  To do this you would start the VM, connect to it from Hyper-V, Action--Insert integration services setup disk, then inside of VM run the setup and restart.  After completing the install you would run log on and sysprep again.
