Answered RD Gateway Mac Support

Most of what I've seen is a few years old. Is there any free option for RD Gateway and Macs? I know of apps like iTap but users will not want to pay for it, and may derail our wanting to get our RD servers secured.

I've seen references to a newer client, 2.1.2 that Microsoft has not yet released, is it supported there?

    Thanks

    Hi,

As far as i know,to use the advanced functianlity of RDG,the only access way is to use the RDC based in the windows platform. The newer client, 2.1.2 will probably not be supported.

Well, because of the lack of support, and the apps that do support it cost money, part of management wants us to look at allowing them to VPN to the network with their personal computers so that they can then use the Microsoft client.

    Thanks Microsoft.
