    I have installed web remote desktop services in windows server 2008 r2. this service is used by the staff's which are not within my office network or intranet, Now the main problem is i cannot print from the remote server to local computer.....I mean printer is connected to the local printer. The redirected printer is not showing in server, and I have checked the printer option while connecting remote desktop service but also the printer is not showing. Not only the printing printer CutePDF writer is also not redirected....

    So please give me the solution for this problem......

    Hi,

    1. On the server, please make sure that Remote Desktop Session Host Role Service is installed using Server Manager.  In RD Session Host Configuration (tsconfig.msc), double-click RDP-Tcp.  On the Client Settings tab please make sure that Windows Printer is unchecked.

    2. What operating system is running on the client PCs?  If it is XP then you need to make sure that .net 3.5 sp1 is installed.  I also recommend the latest Remote Desktop Client available for XP which is version 6.1.7600.
