Does Windows Server 2012 Essentials include an on-premise Exchange Server and does it include the SharePoint Services website?

    Hi:

No, those are "not essential".  <g>.  It is anticipated that email and sharepoint would be provided by a hosting solution or additional servers in house.

You can, for about another year, purchase SBS 2011 which does include Exchange and Sharepoint, and will be supported until "about" 2020.

It also provides the option to have an On Premises Exchange Server integrated to the Dashboard - but requires that you run this on a seperate server (VM or Physical) and you must of course purchase the licensing/software.
