    Hello and greetings from Portugal!

I'm implementing file screening on some Windows Server 2008 R2 servers.
Although everything's working great when a user tries to add a "prohibited" file, because this servers are in the production environment for a while, there were files there previous to the file screening activation.

It's there anyway to force a scan for previous files?

    Best Regards,

    Hi Diogo,

As you said File Screening cannot help delete exists files. So you will need to generate a report with Storage Report Management. You could choose the report type as File Screening Audit to help identify users that violate screening policies.

Hi Shaon and thanks for the reply.

Last Friday I've managed to create a schedule task to perform that report.
Let me share here the sample:

    storrept reports generate /report:FilesByFileGroup /scope:'E:\' /format:'dhtml' /mailto:diogo.sousa@myemail.pt /filegroup:'Audio and Video Files|E-mail Files'"

    Best Regards,
