Is there a mechanism to inhibit the volume formatting or deletion capability in Disk Management?  I need to be able to control access to these capabilities for volumes that my application manages.

    Hi Andyerichards,

What do you mean by "inhibit the volume formatting or deletion capability in Disk Management"?

Can you please tell us the detail demand that you?

As I know, we can use Diskpart command line utility to perform all the actions that can be run in Disk Management. If you want to control the capabilities on volume and disk management, you may consider using diskpart to do it.
