server 2003 r2 targets shared folders and their sub folders
- Hi I am new to DFS and I am setting up a disaster recovery site with a domain based DFS. If I currently have 8 shared folders and I each of these shared folders have many sub folders do I need to target each sub folder for replication?
I set up a DFS targets and 2 names space servers and I can naviagate to all the shares and their sub folders.
If I do not have to target the sub folders how do I figure out how large to make our staging folders?

Hi Bruce,
As far as I know, each shared replicated folder under a DFS link need to have replication method to replicate the content among the shared folders.
You may consider establishing DFS replication groups for each DFS link.
