DFSR - 0Kb files in Conflict and Deleted Folder

I have a 2003R2 file server replicating to a 2008R2 Storage server for backup. After what appear to be regular edits to files on the 2003 server, followed by successful replication of the changes, I get associated 0Kb files in the Conflict and Deleted folder without any events in the DFSR Log. However, everything appears to be working correctly. Should I be worried about these 0Kb files?
thanks,
jb

Hi,
Files are purged when the Conflict and Deleted folder reaches 90 percent of the configured quota.
Please check quota setting of Conflict and Deleted folder:
- Open DFS Management.
- In the console tree, under the Replication node, click the replication group that contains the replicated folder with the quotas that you want to edit.
- In the details pane, on the Memberships tab, right-click the replicated folder on the member with the quota that you want to edit, and then click Properties.
- On the Staging tab, adjust the staging folder quota and path as necessary.
- On the Advanced tab, adjust the Conflict and Deleted folder quota as necessary.
Check ConflictandDeletedManifest.xml file in the DfsrPrivate folder also.

Thanks for checking in Lawrence. My staging quota is 8Gb. I've stepped it up to this from 4Gb and now get only occasional 4202 errors in the dfsr log. My Conflict and Deleted Quota is the default 660Mb.
I don't understand why I'm seeing 0Kb files in the conflict and deleted folder. They are not associated with files that were in conflict or were deleted, but seem to be associated with files undergoing normal edits which were subsequently replicated successfully. I've included a screenshot in case it helps.
Thanks,

Hi,

What account do you use to check the folder properties, I think this is caused by don’t have related permission.

This folder not store files you deleted or modified, but store failing conflict files. (DFS Replication uses a "last-writer wins" method for determining which version of a file to keep when a file is modified on two or more members. The losing file is stored in the Conflict and Deleted folder on the member that resolves the conflict. This member might not be the member where the changes originated.)

Yes, I understand (but it does also store deleted files unless configured otherwise.) I'm concerned because the 0KB files are not associated with failing conflict files. Note there is only 1 active server in my replication pair. There are no conflicts in the DFSR log, and when we ask the user they say they just made normal edits, copies, moves, adds, etc. -
