windows 2008 R2 unhide files after virus

Wednesday, February 27, 2013 6:10 AMI have a server folder with subfolders that are hidding the folders. If I do a right click properties on the folder it shows 1,600 files but none show up. I have show hidden files enabled in explorer. What tool or option do I have unhide these files? Help.

My client has a mix of AVG, Malwarebytes, Norton.. How do we unhide folders that this (porn) virus iinfected. It make them look hidden and I knwo they are there as the drive show 75% utlized but nothing shows up under explorer even with "show hidden files/folders" turned on.

Hi,
1. Go to CMD and input dir on that path to see if files are all there.
2. Try a "attrib -h" command to remove the hidden attribution.
3. Also choose "show protected system files" in folder options.
4. Check if there is a desktop.ini file exists. Try to delete it.
