We have Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 X64 in a MS cluster. On Single Instant storage activated volumes some files give cannot changed or deleted. After opening a file and you want to save the file a message of access violation appears. If I want to delete this file a message “cannot find the path specified”. After a time, mostly the next day the problem is gone and appears on another file.

    Hello,

Please understand that Windows Server 2003 and Windows Storage Server 2003 are different operation system products. Windows Storage Server 2003 is installed and preconfigures, and it may be customized by the OEM. Therefore, it is recommended you to contact the OEM of your windows Storage Server 2003 to get the efficient support.

A list of OEM support phone numbers can be available here.
