wrong "vpn strategy" with CMAK
-
Thursday, February 14, 2013 1:53 PMI've created an installation file, using CMAK utility (from Server 2008). In VPN properties I set, that it should use only PPTP. But, when I run my file, it creates VPN conection with IKEv2. I don't have any idea - why?
The only way to fix it, which I found, is to replase string PreferredDevice=Miniport WAN (SSTP) with PreferredDevice=Miniport WAN (PPTP) in rasphone.pbk, but i dont want to write additional script for this(.

Hi,
I tried to reproduce the issue.
In my test, I use CMAK in Windows Server 2012 to create a test CM profile. I also use Only PPTP.
When I run the file, it does create the VPN connection with IKEv2 as you mentioned. However, when I connect this connection, it does use PPTP actually. Please check if it is the case.
Hope this helps.

Hi, Jeremy Wu!
Tnank you for reply!
After creating vpn connection "vpn strategy" - IKEv2.
But then I run my script. This script does vpn connection connected. I use rasdial.
When calling 'rasdial %connectionname%', it returns 'This function is not supported on this system.'
Can you test your vpn connection with rasdial function?
