Hi, Trying to install sp2 on windows 2003 server standard edition, it fails. I have tried many options
Recreated WMI repository.
Uninstalled .Net Framework
Restarted server
Reinstalled .Net Framework
Installed requisite .Net framework patches by running MBSA
Restarted Machine
Renamed edb.log file
Renamed catroot2 folder
Reregistered DLL Files associated with Cryptographic services
Renamed Software Distribution folder

Restart the computer into Safe Mode and manually install the downloaded Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 package.
