Access problem to roaming profiles ".v2" (Win7) on a server Windows Server 2003R2 SP2 ?

Hello,
I have a Domain managed by "Windows 2003R2 SP2" servers, with "Windows XP SP3 Pro" workstations.
We've added several "Windows 7 Ultimate" workstations in the Domain, and they've created .v2 folders for roaming profiles.
All seems working properly, except that the Domain Administrator accounts don't have access to these .v2 folders and we can't backup the data.
Do you have a solution to fix this problem?
Thanks for your help,
Christopher

Hello,
.V2 profiles is the new version of Windows profiles. This appeared with Windows VISTA / Windows Server 2008.
Note that these profiles are not compatible with Windows XP. If you lost access to roaming profiles, I would recommend that you check the NTFS permissions on them so that you can extract the documents. If you are not able to access them or update them then you can take ownership of them and update the NTFS permissions.

Thanks Mr X.
I've checked and I need to take the ownership to be able to change permissions.
If I take the ownership of this folders/files, that will not generate problems for these data on Win7 workstations?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Christopher. -

Thanks a lot for your help,
Christopher. That will not generate problems if you don't do wrong updates on the NTFS / Share permissions.
