    I'm doing some testing with 2008R2 File Server Resource Manager. I've created a Quota template, and applied a Quota onto a test folder.

    I'm in the process of editing the wording of the alert email, but how can I force it to resend the email? Do I have to wait an hour (or the time between when it sends the alerts) or is there a way to force it?

    I assume that the Quota alerts aren't scheduled but happen on demand when a user breaches the quota settings, but is there a spot where I can force another alert if it's already been sent?

    Alternatively, I could just put dummy data in there, remove and re-add it to trigger it the quota alert.
