Windows Deployment Server - Backwards Compatibility of Server 2012 Images / Groups with Server 2011 / 2008R2

Are there any differences between WDS images created on Server 2012 and previous versions (2011, 2008R2)? I am eventually going to deploy a Server 2012 instance, but our current production server is Server 2011; I'd like to be able to import images created within (and exported from) the Server 2012 instance into Server 2011 (excluding Windows 8 images, of course) so that I can manage the timeframe for the new deployment against our production schedule.

There is no server 2011 released from Microsoft.
