I have two questions pertaining to server licensing:
    1) If I want to install an open source sFTP server on windows 2003 std, do I need any kind of CALs?
    2) Is the windows 2008 web server edition licensed per processor or per machine?

    Hi MillenniaIS,

"1) If I want to install an open source sFTP server on windows 2003 std, do I need any kind of CALs?"

IMHO there is no requirement of CAL to be installed for open source SFTP server

    For your second question
