Good night forum,
I'm experiencing a problem to start Windows Server 2003's service Server. This service was disabled, when I tried to start it an "Access Denied" error came up using administrator account and since them I'm trying to figure out how to solve it. I don't know exactly but I can't synchronize clocks from it using net time and share folders with this service disabled, am I right?
-I changed its user to administrator on the service's properties but got other error.
-Installed hotfix from KB958644 and still no use on starting it.
-Window's Firewall's disabled.
-Event Viewer's logs give me nothing different from the errors mentioned above.
Thank you very much community!

Hi,
Based on my research, please try the following:
1. Change the Log On account for this service to default (Local System account) and see how it works.
2. Apply this Microsoft Hotfix and try again.
The Service Host process may stop unexpectedly in Windows Server 2003
Reference:Server Service refused to start: Access denied
Hope this helps.
