    Hello,

I'm looking into the possibility of using DFS in our environment.

Can anyone tell me if we are able to add shares from an EMC NAS to the DFS root? Or does it have to solely be Microsoft based shares? We're not too bothered about DFS replication but the idea of a shares directory would be advantageous.

    Does anyone know this? Thanks

    Hi,

Using DFS you can only use shared folders on the Windows server, it is not possible to configure NAS to the DFS
