Only 2 RDP licenses allowed on Windows Svr 2008 R2

Hi
I need more than 2 remote connections into the dev/test windows 2008 R2 svr under Bizspark. How can I increase it to 5?

By default we can login into 2 RDP sessions in Windows server 2008 R2.If you want to increase remote connections better install terminal server role and go for extra terminal server licenses (CAL).

Yes, this is by design, Remote Desktop supports two concurrent connections to remotely administer a computer. If you need more than 2 connections you need to install Terminal Services role and you need TS licensing with the licenses installed.

Friday, November 30, 2012 7:53 AMYou can use "mstsc /v:servername /admin" to connect to the console session, creating a free third session. But when someone is already using the /admin switch, and you try to log on, you will disconnect the other user using the /admin switch.
