Unanswered RDP - REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICE & LIMITING

    Can i have setting like "Allow only one RDP user for multiple RDP SESSION login other RDP users are single login"

    OS : on Any 2008 EDITION

    Hi Birav,

    Yes, you can limit login sessions. But you cannot have different settings in a single server. In Windows Server 2003 you could have multiple Remote Desktop session with the same user. In Windows Server 2008 this is not possible by default. If you login with the same user account the first session will be taken over by second session.

    I HAVE REQUIREMENT LIKE ie: AFTER ENABLING MULTIPLE SESSION ,CAN I RESTRICT USER BASICS

    AFAIK, you cannot have multiple setting on same server.

    I suggest you to post your query in RDS specific forum, where you can get better responses and suggestions.
