    The ordinal 459 could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library urlmon.dll.

    I am experiencing the problem cited in the above title.

    In my case, it wasn't noticed until trying to access or download newer versions of IE on my computer.  It also appears when trying to download the free Adobe Reader program.

    I am also experiencing "failure notifications when attempting to install Windows Updates relevant to IE.

    Hi,

    Try the following:

    Open command prompt as Administrator

    Enter command:  regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    Restart and retry.
