Vulnerability of unquote environment variable

We have knowledge of this vulnerabilty which causes hackers to gain privileges when it attempts to execute an excutable. Is there a mitigation process or workaround to ensure these environment path which contains embedded spaces are in quotes.
Any suggestions of best course of action.

I suggest you talk to Microsoft Support Service and see if they can provide you a security patch to fix the vulnerability.
