    hi,,,

    I'm using windows server 2008 r2 . It is installed on the c: drive .

    I have other 25 Gb free which is unallocated . I want to install windows 7 on that partition .

    How can i do that .

    mark that ... my machine is built on 32-bit platform so that i can ont use haper-v . 

    I have try using disk part utility but due to the lack of the knowledge it has end course errors .

    Guid me .

    Why you try Vhd?

    Second way : You can partiton that partition using DiskManagemnt and then isntall windows 7 on it

    Windows Server 2008 R2 is an 64bit Operating System. How did you install that on 32 bit platform ?

    As far as I know, you cannot install 64bit OS on 32bit machine, however, 32bit OS can be installed on 64bit machine !
