Hi,
I bought HP server and got physical and virtual key for windows 2008R2 enterprise. I Installed Windows 2008R2 enterprise on host machine and enable Hyper-V role. I installed virtual machine with windows 2008R2 STANDARD and wont to activate it with virtual key and it doesn't work. I guess virtual key is for 2008R2 enterprise edition.
So i called our Microsoft Activation Center in Slovenia, to downgrade virtual key to 2008R2 standard. But they told me, that they can't do it, because in their "application" they can do it only for 2012 editions. So how the hell can i downgrade a licence, i really don't wont to install enterprise edition i guest machines.
