    Hello,

I would like to ask your feedback regarding the certifications for windows server 2008 and 2012. I am not a advanced user with windows server and I started to work in a place that as windows server 2003 and 2008 mainly and that I have to manage. I want to lear more about windows server so I will start studying and would like to proceed to do some certifications. My question is being the 2003 and 2008 quite some diferent from 2012, should I go for MCSA on windows 2008 and then maybe after 1 year take the 2012 or should I start with 2012?Thanks to all for your feedback.

    Rgs,

    Ricardo

as a note, i think its no longer possible to take 2003 exams, so the earliest you can take is 2008 (which includes 2008 R2 afaik). that being said, I personally would go for 2012, however, as the exams assume real life experience, id suggest you install at least a eval version and play around with it while learning for the exam
