Hi , Can you confirm if you have the below registry keys ? HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\PendingXmlIdentifier HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\NextQueueEntryIndex HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS\AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving Also please provide the event viewer logs for analysis Also i would like to check the permissions using the following method a) identify the system where the updates are successful b) run xcacls on the successful machine ( on the drive ) c) run xcacls on the failure machine and compare the priviliges.- Marked As Answer by Bruce-LiuModerator Monday, February 08, 2010 7:25 AM
