    I went to binding and changed the default http port to 8080 but I cant access the page now. I'm guessing it's a firewall rule. I found the firewall rule but it appears the port 80 is not changeable. Can someone tell me how to open 8080 for web requests?

    What Firewall are you using? Windows Firewall you can select Advanced Settings, Inbound Rules, New Rule and specify port 8080

    Just the internal firewall of win2k8. my local  hosts on the local  LAN can't access the internal server when I changed the port to 8080, but changing it back to 80 and all is well.  That's where I was thinking it was a firewall rule
