    Hi

i am suffering with one of our 50 servers , all servers , clients and sites are working just fine

all 5 Domain controllers are replicating up to date

this is server is one of SharePoint servers , Randomly the application team contact me about a problem with this  server    " usually it takes 1 to 3 days to get down again after restarting "

Its Virtual server . Other servers on same base Hyper-v server are OK

I can ping any PC on the domain by host name or by IP , also i can pin domainname.local

    before i found 2 DNS record : IPv6 and 4 , iv disables ipv6 and 6to4 tunnel

also there was no site for the server sub-net so i configured the correct site sub-net

now i am getting GP update errors , and when i am trying to access any computer`s shared folder i am getting : " the name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded "

the Netstat -n command shows only 3 time-wait connections

this server is configured for load balance with another server " which working fine " the load balance manager shows an error : the RPC server is unavailable ...

one more thing i just founded that on network and sharing center it shows " Network 3 " for network name instead of domainname.local as it should be

Please Please ... i need your help ! while it is corporate website server and it is  really a big problem for me .

note : sorry for bad grammar .

    I would start by that;

Error Message: The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319504/en-us

ipconfig output ok for the DNS's entry ? (just a local DC's DNS)

That subnet is not isolated ? (ie; talking to a DC is not limited)

By talking to the DC, I mean all dynamic RPC port must be open, thus can be 1024 to 65535. Sometime VLAN are restricted by ports between them.

    Hello,

How many virtual NIC's on this server? More than one?If yes, make sure only one of them ha a default gateway set. No multi-homing.
