hi guys, how do i store the shadow copies of a particular volume to another location?
Let's say I want to make shadow copies on D:\ Drive then I will store the shadow copies on SAN device.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance for any input.

You can change the drive that stores the vss information, but you will lose all previous shadow copies.

To move the volume shadow copy storage area to a different volume:
Caution: When you change the location of the shadow copy storage area, all previous shadow copies are deleted.
