Hi,
Have you ever set up
en_windows_server_2012_release_candidate_datacenter_virtual_machine_x64
within Virtualbox?
I have got this issue when attaching such exe file to IDE controller. Is this not a suggested way to attach the exe file?

Many Thanks & Best Regards, Hua Min

After you download the compressed VHD (comes as self extracting *.exe) double-click it to extract the VHD file.

Thanks Dave. I un-zipped that and then attached the extracted file to IDE controller but I got the similar issue like before with “status: 0xc0000225”. Here is the log

I haven't used virtualbox so I don't know either. Might want to ask them here.

Might ask them here what they're using. I'm sure it will run fine on VMWare ESXi if that's what you're asking about.

Try Chipset: ICH9
Also, it's better to ask Virtualbox related questions in their own forum
