hp proliant ML 350 raid solution

hi,
i am the server adminstrator of a geography lab. the managent purchased hp proliant ML350 with 3 physical hard disk of same disk size. so i installed win server 2008 on the machine, and later discovered that i can not make the server a RAID server. pls can some one help me with a solution as quickly as possile

Best option is reinstall.
1. Restart the server.
2. Boot into the RAID configuration utility (usualli CTRL+i) during startup.
3. Create an array, add the disks, set RAID level (5 probably).
4. Boot from win CD, reinstall enter license and youre done.
There is another option called a software raid but it is not recommended in this case.

I suggest you to use the HP Smart CD that come with your HP server to boot the server. To configure the disk configuration use Array configuration utility, once the RAID set is configured create the logical volumes then deploy the Windows 2008 OS.

Most painless method is to boot from the HP SmartStart preinstallation media to prepare machine for operating system deployment.
