VMM 2012 SP1 issue with templates and VHDX

I seem to have a really annoying issue with templates that I have created in VMM 2012 SP1 (please note this is NOT CT2 or Beta) I understand that there was a pre RTM issue where the hard disk had to be VHD to function correctly however this should now have been resolved.
I have created a new server 2012 template all went smoothly added to library no issues, after that I had a need to create a VM this was successful a created another 2 vm's from the template this was also successful. I went to create a fourth VM and it tells me that the VHDX file is missing in the library however browsing to the template location this is incorrect it is there. listed below are what I have done.
- Refreshed Library Servers
- Rebooted Library Servers
- Rebooted VMM Server
- Removed and re-added Library Server
- Re-Imported Template
- Performed full fresh installation of VMM 2012 including new database creation.
None of the above made a difference. I thought maybe the template was the issue so I re-created a new Server 2012 template with a different name and low and behold it gave me 3 VM's and then the status went to missing again. From research this bug was in CTP2 and beta, templates are exceptionally important to me can anyone shed some light to when this will be resolved? There has been another post regarding the same issue from a different user on this site from CTP2 that has not been replied to from August 2012, I hope that now SP1 is general availability this will get a reply.
Many thanks in advance
