    Hello,

When I try to export a virtual machine using the Hyper-V Manager I get a popup erro telling me:

"An error occured while attempting to export the virtual machine"
    "'machinename' Failed to export"
"'machinename' Failed to export. ( Virtual machine ID ..........................)

I noticed that it also happens the same if I only try to export the configuration.

        Thanks.

    Two rules for exporting -
The VM must be off (or you must be exporting a snapshot that is not the current running "now")
You must export to local storage (not a mappend drive, not a network location in any way)

Are you following these two rules and still getting the error?
(Additional information about your situation / scenario is always welcome)

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I have meet this 2 rules.

Do you know where I can look for more info about this error? Maybe in the event viewer?

        Best Regards.
