I have a pretty beefy system, 4 Dual Processors with 12GB RAM but I am not able to create more than 4 Guest VM

I am carefully allocating my memory and processors resources to the guest vms, if i total up 8GB for all my VMs , any new VM wont boot up

There was a trick that passed through the forums a month or so ago.

Try setting a manual page file size on your Parent partition and see if that stops the memory error from happening.

Yes, this is a bug and I assume that it is being handeled.

Also, I am assuming that oyu are also getting the error that you don't have enough memory...(I should have mentioned that)

Could you check to see the amount of cached memory on the system?

    Thanks,
