    hello,

we installed windows 2008 r2 standard x64 os on hp dl380g5 rack server with 16gb ram. windows is working perfect,  but after adding hyper-v role, server have "blue screen". after "blue screen" we checked memory - no errors was found. before adding this role we updated all hp rack server parts firmware and updated all windows updates. we found that if we disable "No-Execute Memory Protection" in server bios - windows stand up, but we receive that hypervisor cannot start, because we must change bios parameters. bios is changed like hp recommends: "Execute Memory Protection"=enabled and "Intel(R) Virtualization Technology"=enabled.
where is the problem for crash?

I have the same problem with a HP ML350 G5

You receive a "Stop 0x0000007E" error on the first restart after you enable Hyper-V on a Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer

    Hi,

I'm having the same issue after installing Hyper V in a cluster and have heard that it's a bug in R2 and opend a case with Mocrosoft with out an answer.  I'm running Dell hardware which has worked fine in Windows 2003 R2.  It seem to only happen randonly when the server becomes busy and then goes unresponsive and the will restart with out andthing showing up in the event logs.
