    I am trying to add the role of media server service to my server, but i cant install the update (Windows6.1-KB963697-x64). I have server 2008R2 standard build 7600.

    when i try to run the file, i get an error message saying the data is invalid.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your post here.

    Is the installation package corrupted? What happen if you download it again and execute? Does the package work as expected on any other Windows Server 2008 R2 server?

    Ive tried downloading it several times without any luck, havent tried it on another server though, since I only have 1, Ill try to get a guy to try it for me on another server on monday.
